Kaiya Wolff Johnson

Kaiya Wolff Johnson was born on October 3rd, 2024, at 7:52 pm at Tallahassee Memorial hospital. She weighed 4lb 1.2oz, she was born 17.5 inches then two minutes later, her twin sister, Remy was born. The moment when I heard Kaiya’s first cry with her first breath on earth, it was so beautiful. The first thought to my head when I heard her cry was it was unreal - it sounded like an angel. The most beautiful cry. I had never heard a cry so beautiful like hers. Then her sister’s first cry was just as beautiful as hers. They both are blessings. I prayed to God to have a beautiful baby, then I got blessed with twin girls. They both had a 10-day NICU stay and Kaiya was the first baby to be cleared to leave. I told the nurses she needs to leave with her sister and God let me take home my twins together on the same day. Kaiya was the first baby girl; she was the first for literally everything and she never left her sister behind. She always made sure her sister was there with her. Kaiya was the first to be born, she was the first to breathe air, she was the first baby I held in my arms. She was the first to hit her baby milestones. She was the first to talk and to crawl, she was the first to start walking and take her first steps like big girl, then the next morning she passed away on Sunday, July 6th. That moment, I knew she was just trying to be the first. Kaiya was a leader for her lil’ sister who’s bigger than she was. Even though she was the big sister, I knew she started trying to walk and stand by herself so she could walk into heaven the next day. I did not know she would be my first baby to leave earth so quickly, only 9 months old. Kaiya was loved by everyone and had so much support since the first day she was born. She was spoiled with love; she had such a beautiful personality. She acted just like me (her mama) and she loved her sister so much. She never wanted her sister to be left behind, she would make sure her sister felt what she felt - all the joy and happiness. Kaiya always kept a smile and made sure her sister had a smile too. Her sister Remy could not walk like she did, so I would put Remy in her walker and Kaiya would push her sister in the walker so her sister could walk with her. Kaiya was the best big sister ever and the best baby girl ever. Kaiya always put smile on her daddy’s face. She would always make her daddy laugh and bring joy to her daddy. She made her daddy and mama proud, even her little sister too. Kaiya was the most beautiful thing ever, like an angel on earth. I call Kaiya, our superhero because she saved her mama, daddy and her sister. She brought us life. As her mama and daddy, we did everything for her and her sister. Kaiya showed us love like we have never felt before. I know her sister felt the love too. Kaiya always truly made her mama and daddy so proud. Kaiya Wolff Johnson will forever be in our hearts. She was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to her mama, daddy and sister. She will live on with us forever and we all hope to see you again, my sweet precious baby girl. We love you and miss you every day. Not one second are you not on our minds. You stay in our hearts and minds all day long, not one second missing. It’s too hard to say goodbye - so it’s never goodbye. I’ll see you again, one day - my sweet little baby girl. Your mama, daddy and sissy love you so much!
