Amy Grantham, 45, is in the loving arms of Jesus and also in the arms of her precious son, Ray T. Edmondson, who preceded her in death. She passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 10, 2017, in Tallahassee, Florida. She is the daughter of Jack and Betty Wilder. She was born May 13, 1971, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a graduate of Godby High School, Class of 1989. Amy worked many years for Leon County Schools at Chiles and Cobb with her final position at SAIL High School. She loved working with children, special needs children and especially the local and state Special Olympics, but most of all, she loved her family and friends. Amy is survived by her husband, Kent Grantham; daughters, Talor Elizabeth and Katelyn Marie, all from Havana, Florida; sister, Sherra Mears (Jammie); parents, Jack and Betty Wilder; grandmother, “Cootie” Louise Rhodes; niece, Haley Brooke; as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins. We will always remember Amy for her loving, caring ways, her happy and go lucky personality and that big beautiful smile that was always on her face for everyone. A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM, Friday, April 14, 2017, at Abbey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics of Leon County, Ref: Amy W.
