Mrs. Jolie Ann LaTourelle-Jones

February 13, 1953 - March 25, 2020

Jolie Ann LaTourelle-Jones, 67, of Tallahassee, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at home, while surrounded by her loving family. Born February 13, 1953, in Danville, Illinois, she was a daughter of the Edward Louis LaTourelle and Margaret Ann Tracy LaTourelle O’Brien. She spent her career helping those with developmental disabilities, earning the title of Bureau Chief with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and later she retired as a Manager for Quality Control and Risk Management. Her true passion in life was helping those with disabilities. In her spare time, she, along with her husband and children, enjoyed SCUBA diving, traveling, boating and camping. She was also a member of the Tallahassee ParrotHead Club. She was an alumni of Southern Illinois University, Eastern Illinois University and University of Florida. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Gordon Welch “Casey” Jones, Jr.; daughters, Joy Nicole Christianson and Bethany LaTourelle; granddaughter, Allie Christianson; brothers, Michael LaTourelle, Louie LaTourelle and George O’Brien; as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be inurned at the Tallahassee National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation to support cancer research.
