Mr. Kenneth Roy Gordon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth Roy Gordon, 71, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He is now residing in his eternal home with Jesus. He was born June 30, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Laverne and Frances Dahl Gordon, who have preceded him in death. He was a member of Northwoods Church Tallahassee, where he served as an Elder, taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. Mr. Gordon was a true Bible scholar and had a good singing voice. He was a kind man and loved everyone he met. Mr. Gordon served as a Military Policeman in the US Army and held several other jobs; school teacher and security in the Department of Defense. However, he was most proud of his title Firefighter in the US Forest Service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gordon. Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Carol Gordon; son, Mike (Sarah) Gordon; daughter, Keri Gordon; brother, Jack (Candy) Gordon; sister-in-law, Phyllis Bautista; grandchildren, Sean, Maddie May and Quinn. A service to honor and celebrate his life is 11:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2022, at Northwoods Church Tallahassee.
