Ms. Roberta Lever Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with profound sadness that the family of Roberta L. Lever, 77, of Havana, Florida, announces her passing on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Roby, as she was known to her family and friends, was born to Henry Robert Lever and Florence Sylvia Gilbert Lever in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 12, 1945. Roby lived her life in service to others. Professionally, she worked with troubled youth through counseling and intervention services and taught elementary education part-time in Leon County. She enjoyed crafting and floral design, which she taught at Lewis M. Lively Area Vocational-Technical School. Later, her love for nature led Roby to work as a Grant Accounting Specialist with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and to volunteer as a board member for the Tallahassee Urban League. Roby had a lifelong love of animals. She enjoyed the companionship of many dogs over the years that she trained for therapy work and agility competition. She also raised horses, cows, and chickens; however, Roby’s greatest love was that which she had for her family. Her love lives on through her children, Jason Morgenthau, Brandi Killoran, and David Milberg, as well as her three grandchildren, Sydney and Lindsey Morgenthau, and Lillian Milberg, and her brothers, Marc and Hayden Lever.
